Today I played golf with my dad. He shot 78 and i shot 75. I was surprised because he hasn't touched a club in over 6 months. I shot 38 with a double on the front and 37 on the back. It was a par 72. I miss numerous putts for birdie, but I was using rental clubs that were regular flex. Today was a relaxing round just for fun.

LHS vs Granada

Today my school played against Granada High School. We won shooting 213 at Brookside. The first and second hole I make a regular par, green in regulation, two putt. The third hole I hit my approach shot to about 20 feet. My birdie putt goes in the hole and lips out so I tap in par. 4th hole I make up and down for par. 5th hole I hit my ball right and my approach shot was plugged in a bunker lip. I was able to get the ball onto the green from the trap, but ended up two putting. 6th hole I made a birdie to get back to even. 7th hole I hit my drive in a trap and my second shot I put to about 140 out. I managed to put my ball about 30 feet away and my birdie putt was on track but the wind pushed it. I tap in for par and moved on. 8th hole I hit my iron shot to about 8 or 9 feet. I read my putt until I was sure about the brake. I stroked it exactly how I planned but the ball lipped out on the high side. 9th hole my drive was in the fairway but my second shot landed on the green but rolled off and up a hill. I had a chip to a very down hill pin. My chip rolled for about 50 feet. My putt was from off the green and about 25 feet. I hit my putt and again and it lips out high side. I tap in for a 37.

New Season!

Today was the first pre-season match for Lincoln High School 2011. We played Saint Mary's at brookside and they won 198 to 216. I shot an unsatisfying 36. The first hole I made a solid birdie, fairway green 20 foot one putt. Second hole I hit the fairway, then the sand trap and a one putt for par. 3rd hole i made a 2 putt par. 4th hole I hit a solid drive, good second shot just short of the green chipped it close and made my tap-in birdie. 5th hole i hit a good drive down the middle, second shot was about 35 feet from the pin and i sank the putt for birdie. 6th hole I hit a bad drive leaving me around 200 out, in the rough. I hit a 3 iron to about 12 feet to a back pin. I missed the simple up hill 10 footer. 7th hole i hit a bad drive but i made up for it with my second shot. I was 190 out and I chose to play it safe and aim away from the water, but i had too much club and i went long and right. I chipped over the green and then I putted back onto the green but short, and i missed the following putt leading to a 7 double bogey. The double bogey put me at 1 under threw 7. 8th hole I was feeling confident, so I hit an 8 iron from about 155. My ball lands 2 feet short of the pin bounces close then rolls back to about 6 feet. I missed the 6 foot putt to make par. The last hole it was nearly sundown, but I hit my driver good about 190 from the pin. I hit a 4 iron a little right of where I intended and short. I was left with about a 60 foot putt. I hit the putt on the low side and i had a 6 foot putt for par. My par putt lipped out softly leading to a bogey. I finished the last 3 holes 3 over with 3 unnecessary putts to shoot an upsetting 36. What began as an amazing round ended up being a decent round. Wednesday is our next match at brookside.

Today at Mather i shot 77. I had 35 putts, 10 fairways and 12 greens in regulation. I had two three putts and i was two over until the 17 hole. My putts did not drop today which caused a higher score than i wanted.

Manteca High School Tournament

Today, i shot 67, 6 birdies and 1 bogey at manteca g.c. The conditions were very consistent rain. The closest score to me was a 75. My rounds were 32 on the back 35 on the front. I birdied all of the par 5's, 14 and 18. The rain made the greens soft and i was able to make every up and down. Hole number 2 290 par 4 i hit into water and made bogey. This was my first tournament in the 60's.

Today i had a high school tournament and i shot 77 at The Reserve. The winds were 10-15 mph, but i was not able to make any birdies today and my problem was my short game was a little off.

Blue Rock springs I shot a 77. i played well but my putts did not drop. I was hitting my irons well but i was not able to make the birdies.

Easter Championship JGANC Day 2

Today i shot 33-39 for a 72. I made 4 birdies on the front nine and three of them were in a row. The only bogey i had on that nine was when my ball kick up hill into a trap and i was unable to make up and down. The 17 and 18 hole i made long putts, 17 was for birdie and 18 was to save par. I got first place with 147.

Today i shot 75. I started on 18 and birdied my first whole and ended up shooting one under on the back nine and four over on the front nine. I only had two birdies, both on the back nine. The front nine i made a 4 pointless bogeys. I could have played much better and there is still one more day of the tournament. I am currently in 5th place.

Today i shot 78 at the Ty Caplin Memorial. I shot 41, 37. The course was not playing very easy. I lost a ball in the rough and had to re-tee. I got 6th place out of 114 people.

Today i shot 79 at Stockton Country Club for a high school tournament. The course was very wet. I played well, but i did not score well, i could have made a lot more putts but it is my fault for not adjusting to the greens and putting with confidence. I shot the low for my school and i believe i placed top 10 out of 84 players.

NCJGT Pacific Grove

Today i shot 74. I made 2 birdies, 2 doubles, 2 bogeys, and 12 pars. Pacific Grove is an oceanside course that is very windy and short. I was 1 under threw 13 and then my putting and luck got worse. 14 i though i was close but ended up off the green, just out side of an environment area then three putted for double. 15 I made a good par. Then I made a birdie with a 300 yard drive on the next hole. 16 I hit on the green and hardly missed by birdie, but i rushed to get out of the way and tryed to tap it in but failed. 17 i got on the green then made a four putt for double. 18 I hit on the green and 2 putted par.

Final Day at Rio Vista

Today i shot 76 which adds up to a 157 for the tournament. That 81 killed me. Today i had no birdies, hole 4 i missed the green then lipped out my putt, hole 6 i three putted from about 20 feet. Hole 7 i hit my ball about 5 feet short of the pin, in the fringe, and it spun back 3 or 4 feet in to the trap, which i failed to up and down from. Hole 16 i miss the green right, pin high, and chip it to 5 feet, the putt hits the lip and stopped, did not drop.

Trilogy NCJGT

It was the first day of a two day tournament. I am currently tied for 5th place, i shot an 81. I was unable to adjust to the slow greens. The course was extremely wet, windy and a few holes were in the rain. Tomorrow will be much better i guarantee.

Today was a good day only one birdy, but plenty of par's I shot 36 on the front and 41 on the back nine resulting in 77. I shot even on the front and 6 over one the back but i took 1st by 4 stroke. I surprisingly made a ton of putts on the front even though the greens were sanded a week ago. The back nine i played just as good but couldn't get the putts to drop.

Jganc Alta Sierra Country Club Junior Classic

I Shot 80, i didn't not think i played well enough to get 1st place. This is my first time getting a trophy for a Jganc tournament. I Lost 3 balls and did not finish strongly, but the course was playing tough. The wind and the Out of bounds were a big factor of that helped me win.

To day was playing easy, i just couldn't make any putts, i shot 75 with a eagle. I started double, par, eagle. My nines were 36, 39. I hit a lot of greens and fairways, but i couldn't get it inside of 5 feet. I havn't lost a ball for over 100 holes.

I shot 78. I did not putt well at all, i had one one putt that was a tap in, i had 38 putts and 16 Greens in regulation, I hit every fairway. I had no penally strokes and i made 13 pars and 10 of which were tap-in's. I am changing my putter for tomorrow.

I shot 77-78, Today i could not hit a green. I was able to make more putts because i spent so much time putting yesterday. I took 4th place, which is the lowest i have placed in a Jganc tournament. The course was playing tough, i shot even par on the front. I started out bogey, birdie, birdie, and a lip out bird on my fourth hole. The second hole i hit the pin and ended up about an inch away form the whole. On the back nine I went par, bogey, double, bogey, bogey, par, bogey, par, par. I had 27 putts total today. It wasn't a bad round.

I shot 83. I started out hitting two balls out of bounds on my first two holes. Three holes later i hit another ball into a water hazard creating a total of six penalty strokes. My irons put me in tough positions, but my short game pulled through most of the time. I made 6 putts outside of 15 feet. The course slope rating was 75.9 and it was a par 72.

AJGA Trader Joe's Junior Championship

This was the best course in Northern California in my view. I had a First Tee Junior Senior Invitational event. The format was Shamble. This is where you have four people on a team, and you take the best drive from all four players and then you play out your ball. To make sure that the team is not too dependent on one player the rules are that each player must have at least three drives used out of eighteen. Six other drives are for who ever hit it the best. Out of the four scores the group took the two best. Alone i shot 74, but my group were only allowed to use nine of my drives, maximum if i hit the very best drive of my group every time. I ended up hitting the best drive sixteen out of the eighteen holes, but i was forced to go backwards, or farther away from the hole seven times. My team used seventeen out my eighteen scores. Today was the very best I have hit my driver and i won a closet to the pin so my irons were on as well. I hit 16 greens in regulation. The greens were very tough to putt on so i did my best and i did not have any three-putts. I did the best i could today and we ended up taking 3rd place out of 30 teams. This was a great tournament.

I had a first tee golf tournament today. I did not play to well. I ended up shooting 82. My driver and putter were really good all day but my irons and chips were off. The course was playing tough today.

I Took 3rd. I tied the lowest score from 16-18 also. This course was very windy. My driver and irons were incredible. I almost holed out two holes in a row. One shot was from 100 yards into the wind and the other was 140 with strong side wind. My putting was my weak part of my game, with three three-putts and three lip outs i shot 76. I left the majority of my birdie putts short with the perfect line. Tomorrow i am playing at Woodbridge in Lodi, spectators would be appreciated.

It was a tough day. I shot 77. It was a rough start, but i finished the back nine even par. I must have had 10 or 11 putts that lipped out hard. Still finishing second is good and this is my lowest two day tournament score, but this is also my first two day tournament this season.

Double Eagle

I had my first DOUBLE EAGLE today!

The first hole at Swenson i hit my drive down the middle, but it went threw the fairway into a patch of deep rough. I was a little confused how i managed to hit the only uncut part of the rough. I put a really good swing on my three wood, because i figured i was about 230 yards out and i saw it going to the left side of the green and the pin was in the middle. The ball kick right and i assumed it was going to be on the green. I walked up there, with my teammate chris, and as we were searching for my ball he looked in the hole and yelled NO WAY. I played two par 5's 4 under par today.

This was the first time i have played this course.

I had three birdys, eight pars, three bogeys, three double bogeys, and one triple bogey.

My nines were 39, 41.

That was some of my best putting and some of my worse putting.

I shot 80 but a two stroke penalty put me at 82. The two stroke penalty was for my cellphone, my cellphone was heard ringing during the tournament. I had 3 double (one was a par with two stroke penalty) 3 bogeys and 3 birdys on the back nine to shoot 42. The Three doubles were back to back to back

My next tournament is in Santa Rosa it would be apriciated if any one wanted to support me and watch.
